On the Go; or, A Series of Movements

This month’s theme was movement! Nova kept scoot-scooting her way around various rooms, but largely stayed in the general vicinity you left her. (Just like her older brother, she managed to get stuck under the couch a few times.) We also got everyone in the pool for swim lessons together – Nova’s first ever and Tycho’s first since February 2020. Nova seems to really enjoy it, Tycho has been slow to warm up to it but is now asking when we get to go back. Fingers crossed we get him to dunk his head soon!

We went to Santa Cruz for Tycho’s spring break and found the perfect little loop for Tycho to bike and suddenly he had it down! It was so cool the first time he rode all the way to preschool by himself, with Mama and Daddy running along with. And then only a few days later he was able to bike home with Daddy at the end of Daddy’s bike ride!

Meanwhile Mama and Daddy have been moving too – Max has been doing longer bike rides, Kristan has been doing long runs with Tycho in the jogging stroller and yoga with Nova romping at her feet. A good month!
