Nova is 7 months! She has been loving her first month of food, especially avocado and banana. She gets really upset when she’s eaten everything and there’s no food left – definitely her #1 complaint in life! She’s really revving to go – on her hands and knees, doing plank, scoot-scoot-scooting across the rug. One of her favorite games right meow is when Mama kisses her, signs “again” and kisses her again. Big smiles for that!
Tycho has been very interested in sign language since we’ve started signing with Nova and always has a sign for us to look up. He’s also been really helpful with Nova, he’ll go get her all sorts of toys and if she starts to get into something he doesn’t want her to, he gets a better toy and gently redirect her to it. It’s sweet. Also he reads her books now! He has been loving soccer after a rough couple of weeks wishing Mama and Daddy were playing too. (And having the playground right there doesn’t hurt.) He was very excited to have our annual hanami visit to the Japanese Tea Gardens with a picnic – he even took a few photos!
