Nova is ONE! We had a fun-filled little party with some friends and neighbors, with a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme. We got really into it and even made a balloon caterpillar! Nova tried to eat it, of course. Tycho thought it was so exciting to have a party! He loved getting everything ready and helped make the decorations. We finished our celebratory day by having sushi for dinner. Kanpai!
Nova is very inquisitive now – she is always on her way to see or do something whether that’s on her two feet or all fours. She can’t walk yet, but she’s working on it. She says Mama, Dada and hiiii (sometimes). She signs “more” (usually while shrieking MOARRRRR!). She loves to wave hello and goodbye and will clap whenever someone else does! She has also figured out how to use a straw and really loves drinking out of Tycho’s water bottle.
The photos shows fun, curiosity, being together, surprises…. All elements are there. When my Ulla was born 3 years after Nina, Kirsten and I had forgotten, what it was like to have a baby. And at the same time we continued to enjoy Nina’s progress. Children is a wonderful experience!
I enjoy the texts on photos. It makes me understand, what is going on, and makes me focus on that photo a little longer, because I have to combine text and photo.
