Nova is 11 months! She loves food. Her favorite toys are food (hello, Comfort Leek!) and her favorite books are about food (The Very Hungry Caterpillar, 5 Little Apples). She likes to sign about food (“more!”) and yell about food (“MOARRR!”). We often find her in the kitchen eating anything that falls during cooking and she thinks being taken out of her highchair before Mama has cleaned under the table is the best thing ever (all the smiles). She even has 5.5 teeth so she can chomp down on more – she eats 2 or 3 Nova-platefuls every meal. Sadly, this means she is less and less interested in Mama-milk….
Meanwhile, Tycho has been frolicking in the Presidio at Sunshine Camp and learning to love the pool! We had a relaxing five days in Paso Robles and it was the most wonderful rhythm of playground, lunch, wine tasting, pool and dinner. We all slept SO WELL. And we even got to meet up with one of Tycho’s best friends at a winery. A real vacation – who knew?!
