Running Up That Hill, Biking Up That Hill, Camping on That Hill, Going to School on That Hill

What a month! We celebrated Tycho’s 5th birthday with camping at Henry Cowell Redwoods SP in Santa Cruz and a train ride in the redwoods. The next week we camped with Tycho’s preschool at Rob Hill in SF, Nova got the hang of her balance bike, and we saw Snarky Puppy at Stern Grove (Tycho’s first concert?). Tycho changed plans and is now going to Kindergarten at Presidio Hill School – we’re all excited!

We celebrated Pride, went to the parade, and Tycho ran a 5K! Here’s his video commentary on his race performance and thoughts on his outfit. Kristan continues to train for the SF Marathon with her longest run yet – 20 miles! Max is training for his marathon beer-drinking tradition and biked to Marin and the Headlands a few times.

Oh! And we rode a “P for Pedal Boats” on Stow Lake finishing the alphabet in the wonderful Golden Gate Park, An A to Z Adventure by Marta Lindsey. Who doesn’t love a good checklist.
