Hark! Nova’s four months old! We had a nice festive month, though it ended up being a little less social than we had expected thanks to the latest surge. Tycho has just about figured out his pedal bike and has mastered asking “Why?”. Somehow he’s still alive after two weeks of winter break!
The Good: Nova rolled over unexpectedly, forgot about it for a couple of days, and then did it over and over again today! We got a baby swing right before preschool went on winter break so that we would hopefully free Mama from naptime so she could hang out with Tycho, and it worked! Naps went from 40 minutes in the crib to 1-3 hours in the swing. Huzzah!
The Bad: Sleep. Omicron. Teething on the horizon.
The Hilarious: We marked our calendar with stickers of presents on the 25th, so Tycho largely referred to the holiday as “Present Day”. He’s not wrong… Also we somehow have four strollers now?! There’s our walking in the park stroller with the great bassinet, our car stroller that our car seat fits into perfectly, our multipurpose stroller that’s good for Tycho and if we were to ever get on a plane again ever in our lives, and our jogging stroller. One of those doesn’t get used. You guess which.
