Nova is 18 months! It felt like it was raining nearly all month. Things have mostly been fine, but the heater’s been finicky and having to remember to check Nova’s room for puddles after rain with high winds has gotten a little old! It was nice to escape to Maui for a week and a half. Nova did really, really well with the potty, except when she really, really didn’t. (Pooping in her pants five times each on our two travel days was a bit much.) And she’s so big! She wears 2T ow!

Tycho had so much fun “doing experiments” in the ocean and “worksheets” with Mama. He feels big too! He’s a kid now, almost a kindergartener, and you can really tell. He’s been really enjoying reading the Boxcar Children together and spent one memorable afternoon / evening demanding we just talk about the Boxcar Children… their adventures, their ages, their favorite colors, their hopes and dreams. It was cute but exhausting! We also got to tackle his first ear infection… yay?
