Nova’s getting so big and doing so much, people keep thinking she’s 2! Where did our little baby go? Oh yeah, and she can scoot as fast as Tycho and tries to trick-ride too, but has no idea how to brake. Oops! Tycho keeps showing glimpses of big-kid Tycho — we got his kindergarten assignment from the school district, incredible to think he’s going to “inside school” all day in just a few short months. Some other highlights from this month:
- We were sad to say goodbye to our pediatrician, who first met Tycho when he was four days old. Tycho teaching him about the Beatles is still a favorite memory!
- Forest school 3 days a week means Nova is getting SUPER CONFIDENT about climbing… so we gotta keep an eye on her. Crazy to see her walking up and down stairs by herself.
- Nova started soccer! She has a funny little word for it – “sah kah” maybe?
- Max and Kristan celebrated our anniversary with family spaghetti adventures and a special sushi and tiki bar night!
- The concert series in Golden Gate Park started up again and we met preschool friends in the park and had pizza picnics a couple of times… so fun
- Tycho insisted we have a “spring party” because school has a “fall party” (back to school), winter party, and summer party (end of the year). Of course, it poured. We made the best of it with tons of bubbles and a cake that only got a little wet ha.
- We went on a night time “light up the night” bike ride on JFK Promenade and we ended up in the Washington Post
- We accidentally had a tourist day
- Aunt Carly came and we dreamt of Japan
