We try very hard to get these blog posts out within a couple of weeks of the end of the month. But not only was February fairly busy, March was even more chaotic! So here it is nearly mid-April, and we’re doing our best to just knock this one off the to do list so we can go start working on March. (Ha. Ha. Ha.)
So: February! It was Love Month, full of valentines and art projects and sweet nothings to and from the kiddos. Nova thought of making valentines for Mama and Daddy all by herself and it was soooo wonderful. She is truly so loving and caring and always ready to give a hug, she is just a delight. Tycho was super excited to make special 3D printed valentines with Daddy for all his classmates this year, and wanted to write them all a note RIGHT NOW, even though it was only February 1st.
We also got to go skiing with the kiddos for a few days and it was so neat to see them both make so much progress! Tycho no longer complains about ski camp (woo!) and loves doing the adventure runs through the trees as well as the smallest jumps in the stunt park. Nova went up her first big chairlift and had a couple of long runs down the mountain – she’s no longer confined to the bunny slope! Her favorite parts are “catching squirrels” with her instructor who get to “ride on her skis” and finishing every day with a white chocolate and rainbow sprinkle covered marshmallow. (Pretty sure she would rebel without her special treat, ha.)
There were probably other things this month but I’m going to delegate and let you figure out the rest with the awesome photos below. :)
It certainly seems like they got the hang of mastering snow and ice! And having fun.
