Solstice picnic with preschool, Hanukkah with new friends, Festivus at home with pizza, Daddy’s birthday with mini golf and adventures, New Year’s Eve with old friends (not to mention our first Panto!) – December was an awesome month!
After November we needed to focus “inward” and be home-y for a bit. The kids had school for the first two thirds of the month, so most of the month was relatively normal to start. We got a tree, Kristan ran her second marathon, Tycho started soccer again. Our magnolia bloomed and then got confused and started making leaves instead. We had a neighborhood holiday party and sang carols while all the kiddos romped around. We watched our staircase stringer fill with cards from family and friends near and far, old and new. And for the third year in a row, we celebrated the end of the year with breakfast for dinner!
Another great year.
Im not sure who is luckier, you, the kids or us getting to see them grow up and experience the world.
Great photos with a lot of action! Agree with Ira, that we are happy to be able to follow your family as it develops and see your kids grow. Believe it or not: they will become much more independant:-)
I am happy that you take time to provide texts for the photos. It more than triples the experience, when I understand what is going on.
Looking forward to next report:-)
